I just woke up, and the light coming through my window is orange. The sky is bright orange. And it's really, really creepy. Either it's the end of the world, or just a really damn big duststorm. Or maybe we're all just suddenly in D'ni. One can only hope.

I'm a bit pressed for time, but this is just a note to say that - I MADE IT!!! WOOOO! :D It was absolutely freezing cold, and there was a monster of a headwind almost all the way down from Goulburn, but crossing the ACT border, seeing Black Mountain and the Telstra Tower come into view, and riding up to the front door of Parliament House, just as I'd imagined, and being able to stand back and admire the view made it all worth while :). Longer update coming soon once I can get a better internet connection than the Canberra YHA.

Just a quick note to say that I'm still alive, although I'm totally bloody exhausted. I'm currently in a motel in Goulburn, having just about survived the last two days of riding around 200km. The trek down to Mittagong yesterday was pretty good, although about 8km's north of our destination we got caught in a hailstorm and had to abandon the last part of the ride. Today wasn't bad either, but time really seems to drag out on the shoulder. You really start to appreciate how long a single kilometer really is when you have to pedal through every single meter of it :). In the end, my legs gave out on a hill just under a kilometer from the Goulbu
